INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR THE INTERPRETATION OF CONTEMPORARY MUSIC – FOURTH EDITION
The Flavio Vespasiano Foundation, following the remarkable success of the previous editions and aiming to promote the study and the interpretation of modern and contemporary music that draws from the rich heritage of the past, organises the 4th edition of the International Competition for the Interpretation of Contemporary Music, for soloists and vocal and instrumental ensembles.
The competition is open to soloists or vocal and instrumental ensembles of up to five performers who are no older than thirty-five years by 30 September 2023. For chamber ensembles, the average age of the members must not exceed thirty-five years. The candidates will be selected by reviewing the video materials sent to the given e-mail address.
The winners will have the excellent opportunity to perform within the programming of the fifteenth edition of the Reate Festival, which will take place in Rome and Rieti in October, November and December 2023.
To enter the International Competition for the Interpretation of Contemporary Music, candidates can choose pieces from a repertoire ranging from 1945 to the present day, including compositions by Italian and foreign composers, published or unpublished.
